Breakfast: El Jordan Cafe

El Jordan Cafe Dallas Review Breakfast Tacos

I absolutely looooooove breakfast. I could seriously eat it ALL THE TIME. I mean what’s not to like about it? Breakfast has something for everyone, but the sad reality is that I’ve slowly been replacing it with the shitty coffee at my office. So I decided I need to get back in the groove of things, and start eating it more often, so what better way to start than going to El Jordon’s Cafe, and gettin’ down on some of the BEST breakfast tacos you can put in your mouth.

El Jordan Cafe Dallas - Salt In Coffee

Before we start talking about the tacos, I want to explain the above photo. This is a little trick I learned while I was living in NYC. You can make even the shitiest coffee taste halfway decent with just adding a pinch of table salt. If you don’t believe me, just go try it! Guarantee you’ll be thanking me later.
Okay, tacos. I’ve been eating the breakfast tacos from Jordan’s since forever ago, and I always get the same three. I’m a pretty firm believer in the saying ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.’ But don’t get me wrong, I’ve mixed it up a couple of times, it’s just this certain combo is straight up KILLER to me.

1.Chorizo and Egg
2.Sausage, Fresh Serrano (jalapenos are for pussies), and Egg
3.Bacon, Fresh Cilantro, and Egg

El Jordan Cafe Dallas - Empty Plate

At $1.50ea these babies are some of the most slept on tacos in Dallas. There’s just one catch… Jordan’s is an old school family run kind of joint. If you have some place to be, best forget about it. I waited a good 30mins for my food to make it’s way out, but it was all good. It was Sunday and the only thing on my to do list was to R E L A X. El Jordan is definitely a must for any of my breakfast taco heads out there.
